Who We Are
Founded in 1964, Avon Christian Church is a congregation of the (Christian Church) Disciples of Christ located in Avon, Indiana and serving Hendricks County and beyond. ACC is a church where all are welcome. We take Jesus’ command to love God and neighbor seriously, and it is at the heart of how we gather, serve, and worship.
ACC is an Open and Affirming Congregation. We welcome all into the full life and ministry of our church, regardless of ability, age, ethnicity, family or marital status, gender identity or expression, nationality, political affiliation, race, sexual orientation, or any other distinction.

Our Mission and Vision
The mission of Avon Christian Church is to share the Good News of Jesus Christ witnessing, loving and serving from our doorsteps “to the ends of the earth.” (Acts 1:8)
The vision of Avon Christian Church is to be a faithful, growing church that demonstrates true community, deep Christian spirituality and a passion for justice. (Micah 6:8)
